Return Policy

Guarantees & Warranties Guide

Understanding your basic rights called consumer guarantees included in the Australian Consumer Law. Consumers automatically receive these consumer guarantees for goods and services purchase in Australia. Please refer to https://www.accc.gov.au/ for more details.

Consumer guarantees are not the same as warranties, including extended warranties. Consumer guarantees are automatic. Warranties are additional promises on top of the consumer guarantees.

ACL state product must be acceptable quality, fit for a particular purpose, matches description for more detail and exceptions and specific rules please refer to https://www.accc.gov.au/. Our products are accompanied by guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and entitled to remedy replacement, repair or refund.

Student Shop Refund and Warranty Policies:

Student Shop will provide a replacement, repair or refund adhering to the Student Shop voluntary warranty policy, you can contact us at [customercare@Student Shop.com.au](mailto:customercare@Student Shop.com.au) for your entitlement. Please include proof of purchase to assist with your enquiry.

Our team will be pleased to assist with your enquiry to establish product condition, determine issue of the fault, and confirm that the issue with the goods isn't attributable to your actions. Student Shop reserves the right to subject returned goods to assessment by the manufacturer within a reasonable timeframe to ascertain these factors, including whether the goods are defective or require basic troubleshooting.

Goods sold with accompanying accessories such as remotes, controllers, power cords, battery chargers, and computer connectivity cables. To qualify for refunds, exchanges, or replacements, customers are required to make a reasonable effort to return faulty products along with the provided accessories at the time of purchase.

Student Shop retains the right to withhold a remedy under the Student Shop voluntary warranty policy if the product has been used against Student Shop advise ‘the product will not meet the purpose and consumer decide to purchase the product’.

Staff Code of Conduct:

Student Shop staff are committed to ensuring that your ACL rights are fully respected. Assist with manufacturer obligation to address issues with the faulty product, provide replacement, repair or refund for products that are faulty and not due to your actions within a reasonable timeframe as outlined in ACL. Provide support to resolve disputes and remedies.

Expenses Related to Claiming under Student Shop’s warranty policy:

If your goods are faulty and you are entitled to a remedy under Student Shop’s warranty policy, Student Shop will cover your reasonable expenses associated with making a claim under the policy. This includes arranging or reimbursing the reasonable cost of transporting the goods to and from to repair provided you obtain prior approval from us.
